To be able to take a course you must:

Step 1. Create a User Account in Aulas Web (free). At the top of the portal look for "Sign up", click there and follow the instructions. Once you have your user account in Aulas Web go to step 2.

Step 2. Enroll. a) Before accessing your account, in this subportal, click on the course of your interest, then access the platform with your user passwords and request enrollment. b) Or after entering your account, from the Personal Area, in the Navigation section located in the left column click on Start of the site. Find the course of your interest, click on it and apply for registration.

Open Government is a notion that has gained academic and political space by proposing a new way of governing our societies, as well as involving citizens in public affairs. 


This course aims to bring this new reality closer to the public interested in the scope and implications of Open Government.


The course will allow participants to know and understand the values, principles and fundamental concepts that underpin Open Government: a) Transparency, access to public information and accountability; b) Citizen participation; and c) Collaboration. It will also allow them to review Open Government implementation experiences and strategies.
